Acclimatisation at LEH

All tourists arriving in Leh have to undergo at least 24 hours acclimatisation before initiating their journey in higher altitude areas of Leh like Khardung La, Pangong Lake, etc.

However, they may visit nearby areas of Leh town during acclimatisation period.

Retiring your stays after having delicious dinner brings us to the end of Day 1.

Leh Local Sightseeing

After your breakfast at your lovely stay Leh, the capital of Ladakh exploration begins.

Highlights of Leh Local Tour:

  • Leh palace
  • Shanti Stupa
  • Paying homage to the martyrs of the Indo-Pak War at the Hall of Fame
  • Magnetic Hill
  • Sangam, the confluence of Indus and Zanskar rivers
  • Gurdwara Pathar Sahib

Returning back to hotel and having delicious dinner brings us to the end of Day 2.

Leh | Khardungla | Nubra Valley

Enjoy appetising breakfast with a view of Mountains and head to Nubra Valley.

You’ll start to Khardung La, an altitude of 5,602 metres above sea level.

Visit Diskit monastery and ride on a camel’s back through the rolling Hunder sand dunes.

Overnight stay and dinner in Nubra valley brings us to the end of Day 3.

Shyok | Pangong Lake

After breakfast, drive to head to Pangong lake via Shyok, a scenic drive through isolated valleys.

The breathtaking Pangong lake is located at an elevation 4,250m. It is 140 km in length and 70% of it lies in Tibet.

Overnight stay & dinner in Pangong Lake.

Pangong Lake | Chang La

Walk along the shore of Pangong lake and enjoy the surreal beauty of the shimmering blue water surrounded by barren mountains in the morning light.

After Breakfast, you’ll start crossing the highest drivable mountain passes in the world, Chang La (5,360m) and reach Leh by the evening.

Exploring local markets in Leh and retiring to Stay in Leh brings us to end of Day 5.

Leh | Leh Airport

After breakfast, Check out from the Leh stay and Enroute to your reserved Train station / Airport to travel back.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

  • If cancellation are made 30 days before the date of travel then 25% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees
  • If cancellation are made 15 days to 30 days before the date of travel then 50% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees
  • If cancellation are made 0 days to 15 days before the date of travel then 100% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees
  • If trains or flights are cancelled, the initial amount is non-refundable, and any refund received from the transportation provider will be reimbursed.
The refund amount, as applicable, will be processed within 10 business days.

SAFETY & ITINERARY ADJUSTMENTS

  • Ensuring your safety is our top priority at Hodophile Geo Holidays. We retain the right to adjust the itinerary and transportation mode for all or part of the trip, driven by factors such as union concerns, government advisories, and restrictions.
  • Should there be changes to the itinerary or transport, travellers are expected to collaborate with our team and avoid causing disruptions that could impact the experience for fellow travellers negatively.
  • Hodophile Geo Holidays reserves the authority to conclude the trip for any traveller and their group due to non-cooperation or disruptive behaviour. In such cases, the entire amount paid will be forfeited.

  • Adjustments to your reserved tour may be necessary due to uncontrollable circumstances, potentially preventing us from fulfilling the tour as initially agreed.
  • "Circumstances beyond our control" refer to unforeseeable and unavoidable events, despite our diligent efforts to exercise reasonable care.
  • These circumstances encompass events such as war, airport closures, epidemics, natural or nuclear disasters, terrorist activities, civil unrest, industrial disputes, adverse weather conditions, Bandhs, national emergencies, and more.
  • We understand the critical importance of providing an exceptional travel experience and commit to making every effort to minimise disruptions, ensuring your journey remains enjoyable even in the face of such challenges.
