Srinagar: Exploring Srinagar's Local Attractions

Arrive in Srinagar by 12:00 and be greeted with a warm welcome in Kashmir. Experience the enchanting Shikara rides and spend the night at the houseboats on Dal Lake.

Upon arrival, meet our representative at Srinagar airport, and proceed to the Houseboat.

In the afternoon, embark on a local sightseeing tour of Srinagar City. Visit: – Mughal gardens: – Chesma Shahi (Mughal Spring), Nishat (The Garden of Bliss), Shalimar (The Abode of Love).

Return to the houseboat, and in the evening, enjoy a 1-hour Shikara ride and explore the floating market for shopping.

Later, return to the houseboat, savour your dinner, and have an overnight stay in Srinagar.

SRINAGAR TO GULMARG - GONDOLA RIDE - STAY IN SRINAGAR (Approx 58 Kms/02 Hours Drive)

After breakfast, we prepare to explore Gulmarg, renowned as the meadow of flowers and India’s most popular winter and skiing destination, traversing the stunning routes of the Valley.

Upon reaching Gulmarg, visit Aarwat Peak and partake in the Gondola Ride, recognized as the world’s highest and Asia’s longest cable car (At Your Own Cost).

In the evening, return to our hotel in Srinagar.

SRINAGAR TO PAHALGAM - LOCAL SIGHTSEEING - STAY IN SRINAGAR (Approx 98 Kms/03 Hours Drive)

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Pahalgam, known as the 'valley of shepherds,' situated at the confluence of the streams flowing from river Lidder and Sheshnag Lake.

During the journey, explore the Awantipura ruins, an 1100-year-old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu.

Aru Valley is renowned for its scenic meadows, lakes, and mountains; it serves as a base camp for trekking to the Kolhai Glacier and Tansar Lake.

Visit Aru Valley, Betaab Valley, and Chandanwari, and consider taking a horse riding trip to Baisaran meadows (At your own cost).

Overnight stay at Hotel/Houseboat in Srinagar.

SRINAGAR - SONMARG DAY EXCURSION - STAY AT SRINAGAR (Approx 90 Kms /03 Hours Drive)

Embark on a full-day excursion to the picturesque ‘meadow of gold’ Sonamarg.

The territory of Ladakh begins from here, situated at an altitude of 2743m above sea level.

You have the option to indulge in a pony ride to one of the glaciers for some snow and ice fun (at your own expense).

Return to Srinagar for an overnight stay at Hotel/Houseboat.

Srinagar - Bid Farewell to the Paradise on Earth

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel in Srinagar. After checking out, you will be transferred to Srinagar Airport for your return flight.

Fly back to your destination with wonderful memories of Heaven on Earth.

Due to stringent security measures, kindly leave for the airport at least 3 hours before the departure time. Four security barriers need to be crossed before reaching the airport, often leading to extended traffic jams right outside the airport.

  • If your trip remains incomplete or uninitiated because of "force majeure" or due to personal reasons after you arrive at the starting point, you will not be able to receive a refund, reschedule, or replace any services that remain unutilized by you.

  • Additional Costs due to Flight Cancellations, Landslides, Roadblocks, and other natural calamities.
  • Internal transfer to Aru valley, Betaab Valley, and Chandanwar
CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

  • If cancellation are made 30 days before the date of travel then 25% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees
  • If cancellation are made 15 days to 30 days before the date of travel then 50% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees
  • If cancellation are made 0 days to 15 days before the date of travel then 100% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees
  • If trains or flights are cancelled, the initial amount is non-refundable, and any refund received from the transportation provider will be reimbursed.
The refund amount, as applicable, will be processed within 10 business days.

SAFETY & ITINERARY ADJUSTMENTS

  • Ensuring your safety is our top priority at Hodophile Geo Holidays. We retain the right to adjust the itinerary and transportation mode for all or part of the trip, driven by factors such as union concerns, government advisories, and restrictions.
  • Should there be changes to the itinerary or transport, travellers are expected to collaborate with our team and avoid causing disruptions that could impact the experience for fellow travellers negatively.
  • Hodophile Geo Holidays reserves the authority to conclude the trip for any traveller and their group due to non-cooperation or disruptive behaviour. In such cases, the entire amount paid will be forfeited.

  • Adjustments to your reserved tour may be necessary due to uncontrollable circumstances, potentially preventing us from fulfilling the tour as initially agreed.
  • "Circumstances beyond our control" refer to unforeseeable and unavoidable events, despite our diligent efforts to exercise reasonable care.
  • These circumstances encompass events such as war, airport closures, epidemics, natural or nuclear disasters, terrorist activities, civil unrest, industrial disputes, adverse weather conditions, Bandhs, national emergencies, and more.
  • We understand the critical importance of providing an exceptional travel experience and commit to making every effort to minimise disruptions, ensuring your journey remains enjoyable even in the face of such challenges.
